Knowing what your outboard service is likely to cost makes maintaining your boat easier. Warren Hay Marine offers fixed-price servicing across a wide range of outboard sizes. Engines under warranty may require additional service items that are not included in the fixed price offering.

What's included in an outboard service?
Fixed price services for 4 stroke outboards include and are limited to Engine oil, Gear box oil, Impeller, Engine oil filter, In line fuel filter (does not include water seperator), inspection of anodes and spark plugs, (customer will be notified if these need to be changed at an additional cost)
Fixed price services for a two stroke include Gear oil, impeller, in line fuel filter and bung washers.
Please note: Additional repairs, non-scheduled replacement parts, corrosion repairs, electrical repairs, fuel system repairs, steering repairs and other work outside the applicable scheduled service are not included in fixed-price servicing unless stated otherwise.

Suzuki Service Intervals
Regular scheduled servicing is important for maintaining the reliability, performance and longevity of your Suzuki outboard.
Suzuki New Zealand's current maintenance schedule requires an initial post-purchase inspection at 3 months or 20 hours, whichever comes first. Standard scheduled servicing is then required every 12 months or 100 operating hours, whichever comes first.
Following the applicable Suzuki maintenance schedule is particularly important for engines covered by Suzuki's manufacturer and extended warranty programmes.
Protect Your Suzuki Warranty
Eligible Suzuki four-stroke outboards purchased from 1 October 2025 are covered by Suzuki's 3+4 Year Warranty, providing up to seven years of warranty protection subject to Suzuki's terms and conditions.
To maintain extended warranty eligibility, the recommended servicing schedule must be followed and applicable servicing carried out by an Approved Suzuki Marine Dealer.
